THE BLACK HILLS
Alien rock forms in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Definitely an eerie hike with the heavy fog just hanging around the tops of these spires.
Once I got around to editing these photos, they reminded me a lot of the planet LV 426 from 1979's ALIEN, starring Sigourney Weaver, one of my favorites. Not the best compositions, but I figured they'd make for a good Halloween post.
I almost didn't even get around to it because I decided to take this month off, watch some horror movies, and have some time away from photography for a bit.
I'll be back at it soon enough though, I still have a shitload of photos from the summer to go through, and more plans for Fall and Winter… But I also have to plan a wedding, so, posts might be fewer going into next year. We'll see!
